Willa Bost  is a seasoned actor, songstress, arts education advocate, and interdisciplinary arts instructor.  She has earned a reputation as a masterful educator, working with elementary through high schools, and with professional ensembles and community organizations.  Willa customizes programs, workshops, and residencies for schools that align with state required  standards.  She also assists educators with integrating the arts into core subject areas. Her work encompasses creative, academic, and community organizing spheres and is rooted in social change and empowerment through the arts.
 

She honed her craft and studied vocal performance at Hampton University, where she traveled the United States with the prestigious HU Concert Choir. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theatre with a Music minor from Florida A&M University.

A proud member of Actor’s Equity Association since 2005, Willa has been cast in several productions under the direction of the renowned Broadway and television director Kenny Leon.  She has performed across the country on the theatrical circuit from Seattle to Florida.  She has graced the stage with co-stars Phylicia Rashad, Shirley Knight, and Kerry Washington to name a few.



After serving as project director and site coordinator for Webster County School System’s 21st CCLC After School Program. In 2004 she performed her debut concert, “I’m Coming Out”, which launched the beginning of her full time performing career. 
She is owner of Inner Arts Productions,
www.innerartsproductions.com, specializing in performing arts education and programming.  Willa most recently taught Theatre at James B. Dudley High in Greensboro, NC.  She is an approved vendor with Gwinnett and Guilford County schools, and is available to provide services nationwide.
