With a rich background in vocal performance and theatre, including an MFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, Willa has graced stages nationwide from Broadway to intimate theaters, alongside luminaries like Jim Parsons, Leslie Odom Jr. and Phylicia Rashad.
Transitioning seamlessly between performance and education, Willa's long time impact has been profound. As founder of Inner Arts Productions, she pioneers performing arts education and programming, recognized by numerous school systems and organizations nationwide.
Her expertise extends beyond the stage, with notable roles including but not limited to lead teacher at St. Louis University's inaugural performing arts camp, special youth programming coordinator with Memphis Black Repertory Theatre, Founder of Arts at Ivy (After-School Arts for Ivy Prep Academy), 21st CCLC Project Director & Site Coordinator, Theatre Teacher James B. Dudley High School, Acting Instructor UNCG, Summer Theatre Instructor/Showcase Director Savannah Cultural Arts Center and most recently, as the Theatre Director at Mind Builders Creative Arts Center in Bronx, NY.
